A coworker (who IS a gym girlie), brought the matcha flavor to work. I thought it tasted pretty great (we serve high quality matcha at our shop, so that's saying something!), and I was in the market for a new protein-rich breakfast option that would keep me full until my lunch break. Previously, I was mish-mashing a Kodiak protein crunchy bar with a handful of peanuts and a banana-- it did the job, but this went very against my lazy ethos, and I'd often forgo the peanuts in my rush to get to my early-morning shifts. I would then run into my #3 character trait, and found myself constantly snacking on pastries at work to carry me over until my lunch break *genetic disposition to type 2 diabetes enters the chat*
The gym bundle was super convenient since (not being a gym person) I didn't own a blender bottle. Flavorwise, I've only tried matcha and taro, but they are both perfectly not-too-sweet (an issue I found with other protein shakes), so I trust the other flavors are similar. I find the monkfruit does not leave an aftertaste like some artificial sweeteners can That said, I LOVE Diet Coke and that sweet sweet aspartame aftertaste, so clearly I'm not very sensitive to such things. Take that as you will.
