Ingredients

  • 2 scoops (~35g) of Boba Tea Protein Collagen Protein
    • Note: If you're caffeine sensitive, pay attention to the caffeine content of the flavor you're using!
  • 3 tablespoons (~21g) unflavored gelatin powder
  • 3/8 cup (6 tablespoons) water

  • 1/8 cup (2 tablespoons) fresh lemon juice

The combination of collagen and gelatin creates that classic gummy texture without any chalkiness.

Equipment You’ll Need

  • Small saucepan for mixing and heating

  • Whisk for smooth blending
  • Silicone gummy bear molds
  • Spoon for removing foam

Silicone molds make unmolding a breeze and come in fun shapes. You can find them at any kitchen supply store or online.

Instructions

Follow these simple steps to create your own batch of delicious, high-protein gummy bears. The key is patience and gentle heat.

01. Mix Dry Ingredients

In a cold saucepan with no heat applied, whisk together the protein powder and gelatin until fully combined with no clumps remaining.

02. Add Liquid

Slowly pour in the water and lemon juice while whisking immediately. Continue whisking until you achieve a smooth, lump-free mixture.

03. Check for Dissolving

Make absolutely sure the powders are fully dissolved with no dry spots lurking on the bottom of the pan. This ensures smooth gummies.

04. Heat Gently

Place the pan over low heat and stir constantly until the mixture becomes smooth and slightly translucent. Keep heat low and don't let it boil.

05. Remove Foam

Use a spoon to carefully skim off any bubbles that form on the surface for a cleaner, professional-looking final product.

06. Fill Molds

Working quickly before the mixture sets, carefully pour into your silicone gummy molds. The mixture thickens as it cools.

07. Refrigerate

Place the filled molds in the refrigerator and let them set for 2-3 hours until the gummies are completely firm to the touch.

08. Unmold & Store

Gently pop the gummies out of the molds. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week of protein-packed snacking.
