The person we're looking to hire should...

  1. Have Social Media Managing skills such as strategizing and managing growth for a brand's social media pages.
  2. Understand the boba industry from a marketing perspective.
  3. Understand the fitness industry from a marketing perspective.
  4. Have a general understanding of Asian pop culture.

The person should also be the most fun, boba-loving, and fitness-loving person ever who can show charisma on camera if necessary.

This person's main skillsets are the below:

*although there is a lot of skills listed below, you will not be expected to be doing ALL of the things below all at the same time, but rather help us build out the systems and processes in which each channel can thrive.

  1. Knows how to strategize and manage content calendar across multiple Social Media Pages.
  2. Is an expert content creator and content strategist across all social channels, but mainly on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
  3. Is a great copywriter who knows who to make copy and unique to the current campaign we are running and optimized across all social platforms. The ability to come up with different ways to say the same thing through copywriting should come naturally.
  4. Can be a charismatic personality on camera and can ideate and create TikTok content with ease.
  5. Understands how to manage and grow Discord and Facebook Group communities or at least willing to figure it out.
  6. Fully understands / is obsessed (or at least near-obsessed) with keeping up with trends on all current and emerging social platforms. This person should also be able to quickly understand how to optimize the company's presence on emerging platforms,.
  7. Able to make sure all content gets pushed out on time and coordinate with the necessary parties to ensure this

    Responsibilities are...

    1. Managing and executing our content calendar across all social media pages.
    2. Collaborating with design, content, and influencer managing team members to produce and execute a strong social media strategy.
    3. Creating, ideating, and strategizing for our social channels. Our Art Director will do most of the photo / graphic visuals for Instagram, but creating quality TikToks / Reels / and possibly some Twitter with ease is a significant portion of this position.
    4. Assisting with ideating, creating, and strategizing across other social platforms and emerging platforms.
    5. Aggregating data to report social media performance for internal use.
    6. Executing campaigns with efficiency and in a timely manner.
    7. Advising with managing and growing Discord and Facebook Group communities.

    In general, this person is highly-motivated to join our team/mission and can see themselves THRIVING in this role for years to come. They should also be naturally very organized, and love making sure things happen on time and efficiently. This person should rarely need to be "managed" as they take ownership of their work.


    We are currently a 5-person team looking to add a fifth (4th person just hired and not pictured yet!). The team is very ambitious, but relaxed interpersonally while also being very industrious in what we’re trying to achieve. We are influencing the entire boba industry to become a little healthier, and it is no easy task. We are looking for someone to add to the team that will hit the ground running and sink their teeth into projects asap. This person will execute their responsibilities fully and thrive in an environment that both gives a lot of freedom, but has a lot of responsibility.

    We are a highly-motivated team that are mentally prepared to tackle the goals we've set for ourselves in 2023, and you need to be as well. You should feel that the skills you bring to the team will almost ensure we achieve our goals.

    Neil* - Owner / Founder, Product Development, Sales / Marketing, Creative Direction, Ops, Customer Service

    Klair* - Supply Chain & Financial Controller, Ops

    Dena - Art Director, Creative Direction, Marketing

    Justine - Art Director, Creative Direction, Marketing

    Skunja - Customer Service Rep, Community Manager

    YOU - Social Media Manager

    Job Type



    Will be hybrid work (majority in-person work because this person will be extremely involved in planning/ideating/collaborating with the marketing team) local to Dallas, TX, but will come on-site a lot more often in the beginning for any onboarding.

    Financial assistance for relocation will be available.

    Additionally, there may be some weeks where you need to come in every day depending on the scope of a launch or systems needing to be built, but on slower weeks, expect to come in 2-4 days.

    We are currently in Frisco, TX, but are looking to finally have an office in the North Dallas area in Q1 of 2023.

    Job Title

    Depends on skills experience, but Social Media Manager / Senior Social Media Manager is a good start. Can be discussed.

    Experience & Degree Requirements

    No hard requirements - prove to us you got what we want and you will be in serious consideration for hire.

    Although there are no hard requirements, having at least 6-12 months of experience will be a major bonus.

    Really understanding / having an obsession (or having a period of obsession in the past) with boba, the fitness industry, and social media are paramount.

    Below is some of the experience we may be looking for:

    1. A track record of creating engaging content mainly across TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
    2. Been an influencer and have grown a decent personal brand.
    3. Experience with coordinating with others to make sure all content gets published on time across all channels.
    4. Experience with aggregating data on social channels into an official report.


    Must-have skills in priority order

      4. Content strategizing
      5. Staying up-to-date on trends across all social platforms
      6. Able to learn emerging social media apps extremely quickly
      7. Aggregating social media data reports for internal use.
    2. Copywriting
    3. Software skills for social media managing including, but not limited to the below
      1. Buffer (or software similar to Buffer)
      2. Some Photoshop / Illustrator
      3. Some Adobe Premier Pro or, if you don't know premier, need to be pretty good at another video editing software.
    4. Fast and concise communication skills across all mediums (in-person, emails, text, DMs, phone calls, Tweets, long-form texts, marketing collateral)
    5. Naturally organized

    Ancillary skills that would be a good bonus if you have experience with them already:

    1. CRMs (like Asana, ClickUp,
